Define the version
Record the game version, device, operating system, region, connection state and review date. A store-page check is labelled separately from hands-on play.
How we test
Our full methodology is hands-on and version-specific. Current game pages are named, documented desk reviews; hands-on findings are added only when an editor records the device, version, region and session.
Record the game version, device, operating system, region, connection state and review date. A store-page check is labelled separately from hands-on play.
Observe onboarding, goal clarity, tutorial interruptions, loading, touch comfort and the first purchase prompt without buying progression.
Complete representative levels, note challenge changes, identify recurring blockers and compare short and longer sessions.
Check store pricing, ads, in-app purchases, privacy links, age rating and whether mechanics are explained before they affect a decision.
Assess gameplay, mobile experience, visual design, accessibility, transparency and entertainment value independently.
Name what was not tested, distinguish facts from judgement and update material changes rather than silently rewriting history.
Rating scale
9–10: exceptional in its category. 7–8.9: strong with identifiable trade-offs. 5–6.9: mixed or narrowly suited. Below 5: material issues outweigh the appeal. Commercial relationships never add points.
